The Armani Group sticks to their fashion shows at the Milan fashion week.

Despite the death of designer Giorgio Armani last week, both labels-both Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani-will present their spring/summer 2026 collections. It will be the last clothing made by Giorgio Armani.

In addition to the fashion shows, the exhibition already announced in the Pinacoteca di Brera Museum, which celebrates the long -term existence of the brand, will also open on September 24th. The late fashion designer had founded his label exactly 50 years ago.

The scheduled implementation of the fashion shows and the opening of the exhibition at which Giorgio Armani worked until the end reflect the will of the company to continue an inheritance of commitment, respect and working passion – values ​​that Mr. Armani has always honored and which he has arranged all of his employees over the years, the company explained in a statement published on Wednesday.

Last weekend Italy said goodbye to its most famous fashion designer. At the headquarters of the Armani Group in Milan, where he had regularly presented his new collections for many years, more than 6,000 people bowed to the coffin. The queue extended far out onto the street.

The 91-year-old designer was buried in the smaller circle of family members, friend: inside and closest employees in a private ceremony in the church of the small town of Rivalta, near his birthplace Piacenza in northern Italy.
