Danish pilot Jacob Friis has understood very quickly what hockey means for Finns. He also wants a lion attitude to the hustle and bustle.

Head coach of the Finnish men’s A-team Jacob Friis Knows that Huuhkaji has a big job ahead of Holland and Poland as these top football tops arrive at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in June.
The Frisian start in the World Cup qualifiers, who started at the Huuhkaji in the early part of the year, was difficult. Finland scored four points against Malta and Lithuania, but the game on the field did not thrill. Against Malta, the Finns were in a bad grip, and Lithuania rose to the levels behind two goals.
However, the head coach is not anxious about a difficult platform. He wanted to encourage Finnish football fans by comparing the hustlers to the sensation of the World Cup ice hockey.
– You are a hockey people. Maybe you get inspiration for Denmark won Canada [jääkiekon MM-kisojen puolivälierässä]. Magic things can happen, Friis said.
Instead of looking for a swelling sauna, he has credit for a group of huhkajanugrous to appear on the field against both the Dutch (June 7) and Poland (June 10).
Big differences

The Danish felt that points were available.
– The difference between Denmark and Canada in hockey is probably bigger [kuin Huuhkajilla Hollantia ja Puolaa vastaan]so a good result is possible for us too.
The coach hoped that even though Finland was primarily a hockey, people would also be interested in the Huuhkaja World Cup.
– What’s better than playing two such big matches at home. I’m looking forward to full stadium for both games.
In the name of honesty, a full -time stadium would hardly push the hustlers to victory in the Netherlands, which is one of the world’s top guards. The national team is sixth in Fifa’s rankings.
Poland is farther away from 34th. The last encounters in 2016 and 2020 did not leave the Finns’ mouths a good taste, as it rolled five times in both games. At least this is easy to start to improve.
The fifa-ranking of the hustlers is 69.
Finnish -looking
The head coach of the Huuhkaja followed at least some hockey World Cup. Group B was held in his home country in Denmark. Atte Kajova
However, according to Friis, attitudes towards opponents will not change, although the challenge is increasing from two previous qualifiers.
– We respect Dutch and Malt as much. We prepare for all games and want to play Finnish -like football.
The “Finnish -looking football” seen under Fri did not leave a good first impression, but the first two games can still be put on the peak of the players and coaching during the introductory phase.
The recipe for success in hockey lions has always been close cooperation and commitment. Friis wants to see the same from the Huuhkajas.
– We have to work hard together to make something similar [kuin Tanskalla Kanadaa vastaan] could happen to us.
