The opening episode of the acclaimed Queen of Fucking Everything news series will be shown on TV today. The producer in charge, Minna Haapkylä, is already hinting at a continuation of the series.

New series directed and written by Tiina Lym Queen of Fucking Everything was published in Yle Areena at the turn of the year.
In a short time, the series has aroused a lot of discussion, and many praise the series’ exciting plot, black humor, and especially Laura Malmivaara’s comprehensive role performance.
In the series, Malmivaara plays Linda, a broker of luxury apartments, who is used to a lavish lifestyle, but her life falls to the bottom. Linda tries her best to keep the scenes of her life up, even if she can no longer afford it.
– This was an eye-opening story for me, too, about what it really means to be financially “in a mess”. And this was a completely unique role for me, a once-in-a-lifetime job, Malmivaara previously described to Iltalehti.
Minna Haapkylä, the executive producer of the series and who plays Linda’s colleague Anna, told Iltalehte at the series’ press conference that she loved acting in the series.

– This script is so good and Tiina [Lymi] is such a good director. From now on, I’ll probably squeeze myself into Tiina’s work, Haapkylä laughs.
– I’m already thinking about the second season, that Anna will be there, isn’t it, Haapkylä enthuses.
He would hope that wherever Linda’s adventures lead in a possible second season, her colleague Anna will follow along.

Haapkylä told Iltalehte in November that the series will also be distributed internationally. It was already known at that time that the series would be presented in London and distributed to at least Holland, Belgium, Norway and Iceland.
And what is the situation of the second production season that has been hinted at?
– Of course, we hope that this will become a second season. In these times, when everyone is having yt negotiations and Yle’s funding is being tightened, there is still no information about the future, Haapkylä regrets.
– But interest has been aroused and everyone hopes that this will become a longer series. It’s already in your head where this would go. This is just the beginning and Linda is only getting into the business world properly, commented Haapkylä.
