The German ski jumpers are looking forward to the World Cup in Klingenthal. “We are particularly looking forward to the World Cup weekend in Klingenthal, because for the first time this winter we will be jumping in front of our home crowd. The support of our fans motivates us all and everyone in the team wants to perform at their best,” said national coach Stefan Horngacher in advance.

Andreas Wellinger will try to achieve better results than last after extra training sessions. Karl Geiger was not nominated for the World Cup. “Karl will use the days to optimize his jumping technique together with coach Max Mechler. Luca Roth will be joining the World Cup team for him,” explained Horngacher.

For the women, the station in Klingenthal is also the first this season in front of a home audience. “We’re really looking forward to it! The five-person DSV squad includes Selina Freitag, Anna Hollandt, Agnes Reisch, Katharina Schmid and Juliane Seyfarth.
