The hockey legend’s wife Fanny died at the age of 45

The Norwegian hockey legend Espen “Shampoo” Knutsen wife Fanny Jahre has died at the age of 45, says, among other things Se og Hör magazine.

The woman passed away on November 28 in Zug, Switzerland, where the family had moved earlier this year. The couple has two children together: Marius11, and Millie9. Knutsen also has one adult child Emil from a previous relationship.

Knutsen and Jahre met at a summer party in 2010. Two years later, they got married.

Knutsen is one of Norway’s greatest hockey icons. He played a total of 207 regular season games in the NHL from 1997 to 2004, with an output of 30+81=111.

Knutsen ended his handsome playing career in 2005. After that, he worked as Vålerenga’s coach and sports director until 2022.
