The areas near the Sierra Nevada, a mountain range in the western US, will experience a very heavy snowstorm in the coming days. Meteorologists even speak of a historic storm, possibly the heaviest storm of the current winter season. They expect enormous amounts of snow and the wind will also be heavy.
