Playing in the German World Cup team Manuel Wiederer amaze with his superstition.
The 29-year-old striker always carries a hair lock with him in matches, which comes from his dog Bruno. It brings Wiederer happiness.
– My parents gave it to me when I played abroad. The hair is in a small bag, the hockey player says.
– I didn’t have the heart to throw it away.
The bangs are currently in the dressing room in Germany. Normally, Wiederer would wear it inside his playing pants, it is not possible with the national team pants.
According to the attacker, the dog hair has caused a little surprise within the team, but some of the players are still completely unaware of it.
– I don’t know if many people know, because normally they are in my pants all year, and now in my bag.
