What will the upcoming spring hair color trends look like? We interviewed a long-time hairdresser and Redken Hair Brand trainer Jukka from Tikk from these.

The march of warmer shades

Tikkinen underlines that the 2025 trendy color Mocha Mousse will be seen widely on the hair coloring side.

– The delicious chocolate and suede mocha mousse is a color that starts to crawl at all popular hair colors.

– Those who still like cool and cold tones: they get a small amount of suede by mixing slightly softer results, making the skin tone healthier. It also works well to support fashionable copper colors.

– One could say that the brownness begins to appear in all shades what is being done now.

In darker hair colors, the basic idea is to seek some slight differences in tone and liveliness.

– A lot of dyeing is used, where for example, the base may be a little darker and deeper at the same time as a slightly lighter, golden tone at the top. There are no big differences in them, but this causes a kind of luxury profile for hair.

– So, in a slightly cliché, the shades are looking for a play of light and shadow.

The skin color is worth considering

Tikkinen calls for remembering the effect of his own skin color when choosing hair color. Thus, the right result can be much more flattering.
