Caterina Scorsone, 41, known from Grey’s Anatomy, posted a stunning photo on her Instagram account. Scorsone says in the caption that a fire broke out in his home a few months ago.
The photo was possibly taken from the ruins of the living room, the roof of which has collapsed and the walls burned black. There are huge pieces of wood and other rubbish on the floor. The update also includes other pictures of the home before the fire, as well as the family’s pets that died in the accident.
– We lost all four of our pets. We are still grieving the loss. However, we are lucky that we got to love them.
– Here are pictures of the place we used to call home. Goodbye to the pets who loved us so well. Let’s celebrate that we have what we always needed, namely each other, says Scorsone.
The actress was putting her children in the bath when she noticed smoke in the house. Scorsone looked down the stairs and noticed the entire downstairs covered in thick smoke.
– I only had about two minutes to get my three children out of the house. We ran out with only our shoes on, but we got out and I’m extremely grateful for that, Scorsone describes the scary moment.
In his writing, the actor also thanks the rescue personnel and all the people who helped them after the fire. The family has received assistance from, among other things, their children’s school.
