Preparations for the 2026 budget have begun. Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) sent a declaration of intent to the RIZIV, the federal health insurance, which is asked to save 907 million euros. Of that amount, 433 million euros concerns the reimbursement of medicines. That reports the French -speaking business newspaper L’Echo.
