Ele (Emma Benini) is 19 years old And he lives in a small town in Basilicata with her mother and her partner. She is a lonely and introverted girl, still deeply marked by the death of her father. His memory has been linked to an old camper for years now.
When Ele discovers that the mother has decided to get rid of the vehicle, it takes a drastic decision: escape with that camper, the only thing that still feels his. During the trip, however, Ele is not alone. Without knowing it, in fact, he finds himself sharing the escape with Mia (Anastasia Doaga).

Ele and Mia, the protagonists
Mia is a 21 -year -old Romanian young man, he is a janitor in the school of Ele, and hid in the van to escape from a much more serious situation. Her boyfriend, involved in drug trafficking, lost his life in a shooting. Mia brings with it a bag that – Ele will discover it only later – is full of drugs. Ele and Mia seem to have nothing in common. One is struggling with the high school exam, the other tries to survive. But something unites them: restlessness, the need to escape, the desire to be understood.
The journey to Northern Italy aboard the camper thus turns into a journey of each into herself. So different, Ele and Mia are destined to understand each other. Ele, in particular, begins to feel feelings unknown up to that moment: he realizes that he has fallen in love with me.
The ending of the film and the cast
When Ele discovers what’s in my bag, everything collapses and their common path also seems destined to interrupt. But the affection (love?) That now unites them pushes them not to stop. They continue the journey together, determined to reach an important place for both: the end of the escape and the beginning of a new awareness.
