Dolci was injured on Thursday last week on his birthday in a paragliding accident. The skier’s broken lumbar vertebra was repaired with surgery on Friday.
The good news is that Dolci survived the accident without any serious injury.

However, the recovery time is long. Dolci is in full condition until about half a year, so the whole season is over. The Winter Olympics will be competed in February.
Dolci is one of France’s biggest ski stars. He has been among the top ten in the World Cup personal race seven times.
At last season’s World Cup, Dolci skied ninth at 50 kilometers.
The World Cup season begins at the end of November in Kuusamo.
