– Many times it was the women who had the most blatant discussions and barked about their appearance there, Tapanainen recalls.
In particular, one subject of the review stuck in his mind.
– I remember that the macaroni box that was offered to the children was the kind that got (feedback) because they put ketchup in it.
The discussion forums even questioned the use of ketchup and questioned how he could offer his children such “unhealthy” food.
Tapanainen, who became a mother at the age of 17, says in the episode that she also received harsh criticism in general for having become a mother at such a young age.
– You won’t get a job and you’ll never get anywhere, and you won’t achieve anything when something like this happens and you’re a single parent or a teenage mother like this, Tapanainen lists what people have told her.
In the episode, she also says that she divorced the father of her first child when the child was about a year old.
– You are alone and still a young mother, so it has become a certain kind of stigma, she states.
