The former head of the Moscow Region Federal Property Management Agency was accused of taking a bribe

The former head of the Federal Property Management Agency for the Moscow Region, Nikolai Peshkov, was detained and charged with accepting a large bribe (part 5 of article 290 of the Criminal Code), Babushkinsky District Court told RBC.

The investigation asks to arrest the ex-official for 2 months. The punishment under the article on a large bribe provides for imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years or a large fine.

The details of the case have not yet been disclosed.

RBC sent a request to the press center of the territorial administration of the Federal Property Management Agency of the Moscow Region.
