The attack

Turchi, who is in charge of Brusaporto’s youth academy, is in a wheelchair due to his illness, but follows matches standing clinging to the net that surrounds the pitch. At the end of the first half a player from Sarnico felt ill and asked for a substitution. The father reached the area where Turchi was and began to yell at the home players. When Turchi tried to calm him down, he was attacked and thrown to the ground, then kicked and punched.

The rescue

Turchi was taken to the emergency room of the Seriate hospital and a CT scan revealed a head trauma.
