The field of the factory went wild.
The second end grandstand of the Tehtaa field located in Valkeakoski caught fire on Sunday evening.
A little after ten o’clock the situation was completely under control.
The fire marshal on duty commented on the matter to Iltalehte on site at the factory Good morning Visuri.
– The situation is very calm. We are still carrying out post-extinguishing operations. One unit foams burned structures so they don’t catch fire again, Visuri said.

How big was the damage?
– The damage was quite extensive. The entire end stand was destroyed in the fire.
Visuri could not immediately extinguish the fire and assess the cause of its ignition.
– The cause of the fire cannot yet be assessed at this stage. The police may have some information, but we have no estimate. When our unit came to the target, the structures were already in the stage of full fire. Then we started protecting the surrounding stands, he said.
According to Visuri, the owner of the field has organized monitoring of the area during the night.
The rescue service was assigned to Tehta’s field on Sunday evening at around 20:08. Football FC Haka’s home stadium was in full fire when the first unit arrived.
The rescue service said in its release that the end grandstand was completely destroyed in the fire.
