The Slovenian Broadcasting Company made a hard line regarding the Eurovision Song Contest. Broadcasters in Ireland, Slovenia and Spain will not broadcast Eurovision this year. The reason for the boycott is Israel’s participation in the song contest. The countries are also not participating in this year’s competition because of Israel. The Guardian reports that the Slovenian broadcasting company RTV has decided to make a tough class protest. During the Eurovision, the country’s public broadcasting company shows Palestinian films and documentaries.
