The European satellite Sentinel-1C, launched last week, has taken its first photos of Earth. The probe started its career with a photo of the Netherlands, with the province of Flevoland in the middle. Cities such as Amsterdam, Utrecht, Leiden, Apeldoorn and Haarlem can also be seen, as can the Marker Wadden and the Houtribdijk.
