Musician Tommi Läntinen66, visited Friday Morning in Finland together with his partner, a doctor of occupational psychology Helena Åhmanin61, with.
In autumn 2021, Läntinen said on his Instagram account that he had found a new partner by his side. He said that the couple’s first meeting was scheduled for spring.
Now they tell Huomenta Suomen in an interview how they met for the first time at Tuukka Temonen’s studio.
– There was a project, a pilot program, where I was speaking and Tommi was playing music and talking, says Åhman.
– That’s when we noticed that there is some energy here.
Läntinen tells how the couple’s mutual friend acted as an intermediary between the two.
– We exchanged numbers through him, Läntinen says.
– I got a call one evening that he had heard that the coffee tooth might be a bit sore, Åhman continued.
In the program, a picture from the moment of their first meeting was also shown to the couple. The picture was taken shortly after the couple’s first meeting.
Åhman is sitting on a chair with a smile on his face and Läntinen is in front of him with a guitar in hand.
– Very few people have memories of that very first moment and pictures taken by a professional photographer, Åhman reflects.
– This was by no means a mechanized thing to come and take the pictures when we meet, Läntinen laughs.
Before Åhman, Läntinen had a relationship that lasted no less than 30 years, which came to an end in 2015. Since then, he hardly talked about his love life in public.
She has told Me Nais about her relationship with Åhman, among others.
– It was a surprise to find love at this age. I guess someone heard my wish. We have a nice adult relationship, Läntinen said.
– She is funny, intelligent and a wonderful woman. His sense of humor is iron, he described.
