The first images of the Netflix series ‘berlin‘, shown at the gala Tudum 2023, They have shown how, in line with its predecessor, ‘La casa de papel’, the gang of the main character of the series, taken from the original fiction, prepares the robbery of the largest auction house in Paris.

The preview of the series at Netflix’s annual event, where the releases of the season are exposed, has shown an aesthetic similar to the fiction from which the franchise started and has presented a cast led by Peter Alonsowho continues his role as Berlin in this prequel, and completed by Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña and Joel Sánchezwho make up the gang of robbers.

Recently shot at the Netflix studios in Madrid and with numerous exteriors captured in Paris, ‘Berlin’ will use a “much brighter narrative, but above all vital, playful” in which part of the violence used in ‘La casa’ is dispensed with of paper’ and ‘Red Sky’ and violent assaults are exchanged for robberies without violence “in the style of david copperfield“.

Pedro Alonso has recognized important changes in his character, in which on this occasion he has found “a hymn to the joy of living” against the “tense, dangerous, with more plutonium” character of Berlin in the original fiction, of which, however, traits of his original character will be preserved, such as his facet of seductive lover.

Likewise, the series will feature two surviving characters from ‘La casa de papel’: Inspectors Murillo and Sierraembodied by Itziar Ituno and Najwa Nimri.

As usual in the franchise’s fictions, the soundtrack of the series will have its own songs to which will be added versions of popular classics such as the song ‘Felicità’, by Albano and Romina Powerwhich in this case will sound in a “cover” recorded for the occasion by Pedro Alonso and Tristán Ulloa.
