We ranked all UMK winners from worst to best. The speech is now direct – especially for the most miserable ones: “Cheap lattäskä.” Finland’s Eurovision Song Contest experienced a real upheaval in 2012, when Yle decided to launch the UMK or New Music competition. The reason was the desire to reform the selection process and better highlight new talents in the music industry. So far, Finland’s visa representative has been elected through UMK 14 times. We ranked these songs from worst to best. For the worst ones, we can talk about outright disasters.
