The Finnish team to the World Cup halls announced – Huntington aside

Finland will go to the World Cup halls with the largest team since 1993.

Seven Finns will take part in the World Championships in Athletics Hall Tracks in Belgard on 18–20. March.

The Finnish team includes Lotta Kemppinen 60 meters, Sara Kuivisto 1500 meters, Reetta Hurske and Ilari Manninen In the 60-meter hurdles, Kristian Pulli long jump as well Kristiina Mäkelä and Senni Salminen in a triple jump.

– The number of athletes on the team is also gratifying. No such large team has been sent from Finland to the World Championships since 1993, the Finnish Sports Federation’s top sports coaching manager. Tuomo Salonen rejoices in the press release.

Maria Huntington will have to be left out of the World Cup instead. The athlete had a place in the hall match pentathlon, but the Achilles tendon was blocking the race trip. Less than a week ago, a Tampere resident enjoyed a trip to Instagram.

The Finnish team may be supplemented based on the rankings of the International Athletics Federation.
