Niilo Moilanen will miss the cross-country world cup sprint race in Les Rousses, France.

The Ski Federation informs that Moilanen has fallen ill, and therefore he will not start the trip at all.

The news comes at the last minute. Sprint time trials start at 13:15 Finnish time.

Moilanen, 23, is the sprint junior world champion from 2021.
