The Finnish auction emperor took the jacket: the electric bike goes cheap

Aki Palsanmäki estimates the price of the auction item completely wrong.

Aki’s faith in the tuned bicycle was strong. Heli was more realistic from the beginning. – I hope we can even get ours out. I’m afraid we won’t, he said in the series. Four

Finland’s auction emperor Aki Palsanmäki was bitterly disappointed in the latest episode of its series. It was shown yesterday on Nelose and can be found on Ruudu.

Aki had purchased accessories for 500 euros to electrify an ordinary, old bicycle. He gave the task to his assistant Markku Sauko.

– A Design by Markku electric bike will make you a thousand euros just by throwing it away, because new electric bikes in brick-and-mortar stores cost around 800–3,000 euros, Aki predicts on TV.

Markku did the work as ordered and tuned the old bike to an electric version. Four

However, Aki’s price request was grossly excessive. It was revealed in the auction seen at the end of the episode. The tuned bike changed hands for only a fraction of what was expected, i.e. 260 euros.

– I got 600 euros in the jacket, and it swung. Not much of a smile. But… Aki took a longer pause.

– It’s like this sometimes, he said matter-of-factly to the camera.

Those who bought the bike Hannah and Juha Lassila on the other hand, they seemed to be happy with the deal they made.

– I’m quite satisfied, although I don’t know if it will work. Hopefully, Juha said to the camera.

Aki lost money at the auction – and also lost the cycling race to his wife. Four
