The fighting spirit of the Dutch is still far to be found: only half take up arms in a war

The Dutch must prepare for war, but are we also prepared to fight? That is still disappointing, according to several studies. In the most positive survey, about half of Dutch people take up arms in an armed conflict. How come? And when are people willing to fight?
