Ferrari driver For Charles Leclerc was slapped with a 20-second time penalty after the Miami GP because he drove the corners on the straight in the last lap of the race.
Leclerc spun at the start of the final lap and wrecked his car. After that, he crossed the finish line in sixth place, but due to a time penalty, the ranking fell two places lower to eighth. Before his spin, Leclerc was fourth.

Red Bull For Max Verstappen on the other hand, a five-second time penalty was issued after the race, because he had crossed the white line too early after leaving the pit.
However, the time penalty does not change Verstappen’s final position. He is fifth in the final results. The race was won by Mercedes Kimi Antonelli.
