They were so looking forward to their family in Berlin. But then Jessica von Duehren (31) was stuck with her four-year-old twins at Dresden Airport because of the climate stickers.

At 4 p.m. she started in her adopted home of Zurich and wanted to visit her parents in Berlin for Advent. Instead of BER, your plane landed in the Saxon state capital.

The 31-year-old journalist reports from the Easyjet machine: “We were not allowed to leave the plane. Dresden Airport is completely overwhelmed by the many diverted planes.”

How and when it will continue was unclear for hours. To distract themselves and bridge the waiting time, the children were allowed to visit the pilot in the cockpit.

The family finally landed at BER at 8:30 p.m. There, the young mother reports, there were neither available exit stairs nor buses …

► Five starts had to be canceled as a result of the climate sticker campaign, and according to the airport, 750 passengers were affected.

The activists streamed the action live on Twitter. There they could be seen cutting through a fence and entering the airport grounds shortly after 4 p.m. They then held banners up to the camera and explained their motives. Activists were also seen gluing themselves to the ground and others riding bicycles.

About ten minutes after the start of the action, blue lights could be seen in the live stream, and a little later police officers could also be heard. According to the federal police, there should be several criminal offenses at the same time.
