Yle radio announcer Jari Aula ended his career today.
Aula, who is retiring, hosted his last broadcast on Yle Radio 1 on Saturday, January 31. The last words were heard Music chamberin the program.

In his closing remarks, Aula said that he had learned a lot from his work over the years. He started working on Yle’s radio channels in the early 80s.
– Radio, so in this case audio, is important. I have learned self-control, judgment, and patience at work. The current political issues of science, art, history and culture have become familiar, as well as various situations. Here, it has been possible to be on the nerves of the times, he described.
He said that he also learned about music, but even that has not been as important as the lessons of good expression, authenticity and living in a situation have been. Aula described that she had found her “inner peace” over the years.
