Evans says the surgery went according to plan, and his recovery has gone well. He says that during his recovery he needed help to get out of bed, for example, because he is not yet allowed to use his abdominal muscles.
Evans says she discussed her surgery with her daughter Ensley with caution. According to Evans, Ensley noticed her mother’s pain after the operation and stated that she never wanted to undergo the same operation on herself.
– I said he doesn’t have to do that. This is not something he should do as a parent, Evans says.
Evans says that he has already noticed results about a month after the surgery.
– I think today I looked at myself for the first time and thought: “Wow, the swelling has gone down and I can now see the shapes in my body. My abs are starting to show and the curves on the sides of my hips are becoming clearer. I feel like I’m changing”, the ex-teenager expressed.
