The European Union has decided to prepare new sanctions against Russian financial institutions, said French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, BFMTV reports.
“These sanctions will also affect our economy,” he admitted, “but our values of freedom are at stake, and they have a price. We are ready to pay this price.”
Le Maire did not specify when the sanctions would be introduced.
