The difference in employment rates between those born in Belgium and those who migrated to Belgium has shrunk rapidly in recent years. Although the share of workers among those born abroad is still low in an international perspective, the employment gap has never looked smaller than it is today. This was evident from an analysis by De Tijd on Wednesday based on the migration report of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and figures from the statistical agency Eurostat.
