The driver of a tourism has died this Friday in Sant Feliu de Buixalleu (Girona) in a head-on collision with a lorry, whose driver was slightly injured and was taken to the Trueta Hospital in Girona.
As reported by the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT), the accident occurred on the GI-553 road, in the direction of Arbúcies, a little before one in the afternoon.
For reasons that are still being investigated by the Mossos d’Esquadra de Tráfico, there has been a head-on collision between a truck and a car and the driver of the second, a 59-year-old man, has died, while the driver of the first has been taken by helicopter to the Hospital Josep Trueta of Girona.

As a result of the accident, four police patrols, five Fire Departments of the Generalitat, an ambulance and the medicalized helicopter of the Medical Emergency System (SEM) have been activated.
