The DPR announced the arrival of members of the “Right Sector” in the Donbass

Members of the Right Sector organization (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) were noticed in the Donbass. This was stated at a briefing on Tuesday by the deputy head of the defense department of the self-proclaimed DPR Eduard Basurin, video published on YouTube.

“The presence <...> of members of the Right Sector in the Pavlopol region was revealed,” he said.

They were noticed together with the officers of the 74th Center for Psychological Operations and employees of the Fifth Channel, Basurin specified. He added that the members of this “group” had previously worked in the Avdiivka area. According to Basurin, they are filming “provocative stories” during which nationalists give interviews to journalists, posing as Ukrainian soldiers.

The people’s militia of the self-proclaimed DPR in January has repeatedly reported on the movements of members of the “Right Sector”. So, on January 5 in the department saidthat up to 20 members of the organization arrived in the Marinka area. Then, on January 6, in the DPR told about the discovery of a new group of 10 members of the Right Sector near the village of Granitnoye. Already January 11 Basurin informedthat a “separate assault company of nationalist militants” had arrived in the Novoselovka area.
