THEChristmas 2024 is upon us and beauty is the protagonist of the magic of the period. The trees and decorations are designed by the most important fashion houses, including Dior, VeraLab and Sephora. But they are not the only news on the beauty agenda for December 2024.

Dior Beauty lights up Milan with the tree in the Galleria and Rinascente
Dior and Rinascente come together for the magic of the holidays. From 3 December to 13 January 2025 the spaces of Rinascente Milano will be transformed into one glittering night of celebration at the Palace of Versailles. The entire facade is animated by plays of light that recreate the iconic elements of the maison; the shop windows host golden motifs with the most famous perfumed creations at the centre, including J’Adore, Miss Dior and the creations of La Collection Privée.
On floor -1 a pop-up awaits you pfind all the olfactory creations of the maison, as well as make up and a series of exclusive proposals between skincare and fragrances. Furthermore, the gifts can be embellished and personalized by a calligrapher, which will make your package even more unique.

Not just Rinascente. Dior also designed the famous Christmas tree that decorates the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele IIthe Milanese living room par excellence. Inspired by the sumptuousness of Versailles, the fir tree is more than 14 meters high and decorated with 1900 elements. Thus, raising your eyes towards the Dome, infinite lights will illuminate the Octagon until January 6th.
With these two projects, Dior wanted to leave something tangible to the city. In fact, it will contribute to redevelopment of the fountain in Piazza Fontana, whose restoration work will begin in spring 2025. Finally, the Parisian maison it will also illuminate other areas of Milan with its treessuch as Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci, Piazza Berlnguer, Piazza Anita Garibaldi and others with trees which, once the holidays are over, will be replanted around the city.

Sephora signs the light installations in the heart of Milan
Instead, Sephora will illuminate Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Piazza San Babila. Until January 6ththe long Milanese shopping street will be festively decorated with 400 meters of 1000 spheres and “Sephora Sky” themed lights while a 13 meter tree will shine in the square from 6 December. Furthermore, from 7 to 24 December, from 4pm to 8pm, you will be able to interact with the tree itself for the opportunity to win Sephora-designed decorations and participate in the draw for special gift boxes. And, until December 26th you can personalize your gift within a specially created pop up.
The magic of Christmas at Sephora will not only involve the center. Themed trees will light up other streets such as Via Rovereto corner Via Giacosa, Piazza Tina Modotti and Via Santa Rita da Cascia.

VeraLab lights up the Rinascente in Rome
The now very recognizable VeraLab pink lights up La Rinascente Roma Piazza Fiume, in the heart of the city from 3 December to 3 January. The protagonists of the showcases will be the brand’s best-selling products while on the ground floor there will be a corner of the flagship store where you can take advantage of free skincare and make-up consultations. DSpecial Christmas boxes are also available which, for the occasion, will be sold together with the brand’s tote bau.

Yves Saint Laurent Beauty and the Abuse is not Love project
Not just Christmas trees. Since 2020 Yves Saint Laurent Beauty has supported the project Abuse is not Lovea program against gender violence which has so far involved over a million people thanks to collaboration with NGOs present on all continents.
Last November 29th, during a live streaming event followed all over the world, the Parisian fashion house once again committed itself to the action of Globally promote healthy relationships education in schools and communities worldwide. At the center, the goal of giving new tools so that warning signs and abuse can be recognised so we can distinguish and build healthy relationships.
