Perry Bamonte, guitarist and keyboardist of The Cure, has died at the age of 65. The band reported this on its website. Bamonte died after a short illness. Bamonte became roadie for The Cure in 1984. His brother Daryl was the band’s tour manager. Bamonte later became the personal assistant to Robert Smith, the band’s frontman.
