Blood, 36, played in Finland on a few different occasions. In addition to the Jokers, he represented Pelicans, Ässi and Tappara in the SM league. In total, Blood played 316 regular season games in the SM League during eight seasons, where 69 (16+53) points were scored.
Blood became a real cult player, especially with the Pelicans, who was loved by the fans. The hard-hitting team collected no less than 687 minutes of ice time in the SM league.
Blood is running these days Blood Hockey – a company that offers, among other things, training camps for ice hockey players who want to develop in playing.
The company owned by Pakijärkäle operates in Minnesota.
