The Crown 5, all about the series in the God Save The Queen podcast

T.truth and fiction, The Crown 5 it was certainly one of the most anticipated “royal” television events of the year. The Crown 5 between truth and fiction

The cast has been completely renewed: Imelda Staunton is Elizabeth II. Before her, the sovereign who passed away on September 8, was played by Claire Foy (two Emmyone in 2017 and the other in 2021) e Olivia Colman (a Golden Globe an Emmy). Jonathan Pryce is Prince Philip. While the absolute protagonist of this season is Elizabeth Debicki who plays Lady Diana. Dominic West is Prince Charles.

There is a lot to comment on the ten episodes, starting from the look to the same texture which has certainly offered interesting spaces starting with the social rise of Mohamed Al-Fayed, Dodi’s father, Lady Diana’s last, unfortunate flirt. While, on the other hand, episodes such as Ipatiev House on the murder of the Romanovs killed in the night between 16 and 17 July 1918. As you know, the television broadcaster she apologized twenty years later for that 1995 interview with Lady Diana by paying compensation to the family. Bashir, relying on Lady D’s paranoia, made her believe she was being threatened by wiretapping her phone and her mail. Diana said the famous phrase of the “marriage of three” with Carlo and Camilla.
