The court announced the departure of brother Navalny to Cyprus

Oleg Navalny was sentenced to a year of probation. According to the court decision, he could not leave the house from 22:00 to 06:00, attend mass events and leave Moscow.

In January 2022, the Federal Penitentiary Service applied to the Lublinsky Court of Moscow with a request to replace his suspended sentence with a real one, as he “does not properly comply with the restrictions imposed by the court.”

On January 26, the Ministry of Internal Affairs put Oleg Navalny on the wanted list. His lawyer Nikos Paraskevov then told RBC that, according to the criminal executive inspection, Oleg Navalny has been hiding from their control for more than 30 days.

Actions in support of Alexei Navalny took place on January 23, 21 and February 2, 2021 after the opposition leader was detained at Sheremetyevo Airport immediately after his return from treatment in Germany. He was detained as part of the Yves Rocher case, in which the oppositionist received a suspended sentence back in 2014.

At the beginning of February 2021, the suspended sentence was replaced with a real one, after which Alexei Navalny was transferred to IK-2 in the city of Pokrov, Vladimir Region.

Oleg Navalny received 3.5 years in the Yves Rocher case in 2014 and served his term in a penal colony.
