Familiar from social media Jaakob Rissanen and Rita Piironen attended Linna’s party only a day and a half after the birth of the couple’s third child. Not everyone was pleased with the decision to participate, and child protection reports have been made about the couple’s child.
Rissanen and Piironen open Ilta-Sanom in an interview, now his thoughts on the commotion that arose after participating in the party. Rissanen says that the criticism has been aimed especially at the child’s mother.
The couple heard about the child protection notices when the social authority called Piirone.
– We got a call from there, and they apologized terribly, that it’s a bit sad when you have to call because of something like this, that it doesn’t lead to any measures, but these always have to be reviewed, Piironen tells Ilta-Sanom.
The couple is upset that child protection notices burden child protection.
– I’ve received a lot of messages from families that they can’t get help because the system is so blocked. It makes me feel guilty that we are now one of the reasons why someone doesn’t necessarily get help, Rissanen describes to the magazine.
– They have to do a lot of background work and records, which really take a lot of time out of the working day, which is something else. That’s sad, Piironen compas.
Piironen recently told Iltalehte that he received mostly positive feedback about his participation in Linna’s celebrations. For example, there have also been more unpleasant comments on Facebook about how Piironen has “left her newborn baby in the care of people”.
Piironen himself has not wanted to read nasty comments, but Iltalehte wondered about one thing in particular in the criticism.
– How come that father hasn’t received any criticism for his participation in the party, but then, of course, mother gets all the criticism for this too, Piironen wondered.
– I myself strongly know what kind of support network we have and that the baby has been in the best care in the world during the time we were away for a couple of hours. I can’t see the situation in the same way as those critical commentators have brought it up.
