Presenter Maria Veitola recently found herself in the center of controversy when her yet-to-be-published documentary program in Veitola.doc Milan Jaff, convicted of aggravated child rape, appeared. Veitola interviewed this in his documentary program about street gangs.
The matter shocked those interested in the program so much that it was finally decided to cut the prison interview from the program.
The commotion left a mark
Now Veitola says on her Instagram account that the commotion brought with it shocking threats towards her, which has completely exhausted her.
– I guess I’ve never been so exhausted and crap at Christmas as I was this year. I would just like to be in your arms and cry. And I’m going to be, because I’m good at it.
– I’ve probably never before received so many threats of rape and other violence directed at myself and my child in a short period of time, than in the last week or so. Christmas cards like that. From time to time, I talk about the hate messages that unfortunately rain down on us brave and open, taboo-breaking individuals who believe in and practice it.
Veitola thanks those close to him and other people who have encouraged him in the midst of the commotion.

– And I thought that maybe if I spend the whole Christmas on this stool nice and quiet, maybe I can have a moment in peace when I leave the Christmas tree, I guess?
