FC Bayern’s squad planning for the coming season is in full swing. In the search for new players, a professional from Hoffenheim has reportedly come into focus.

FC Bayern has apparently chosen its transfer target for the coming summer. As the pay TV broadcaster Sky reports, the German record champions have started initial discussions with Tom Bischof from TSG Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old’s contract runs until summer 2025.

In addition to FC Bayern, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt are also showing interest in the German U21 international. Hoffenheim, on the other hand, does not want to lose Bischof without a transfer and is hoping for a contract extension.

Bishop has not yet made a decision about his future. According to the report, talks took place between the player and Hoffenheim boss Andreas Schicker on Monday. Bishop has played 17 competitive games this season, in which he scored one goal and provided two assists. From January, Bischof will be allowed to negotiate directly with other clubs.
