The City Council buys the old Barceloneta Clinic to convert it into an outpatient clinic

Primary care services in Barceloneta are currently offered in a more limited way from a smaller space in the facilities of the Sea Hospital.

The agreement by Barcelona City Council to reserve these eight million to acquire these buildings is the first step so that, once the relevant specific urban planning is approved, they can be transferred to the Catalan Health Service to build the equipment and provide it with a plan. functional for use as CAP Barceloneta. The old Barceloneta Clinic operated between 1988 and its closure, in 2014, as an intermediate care hospital center.
