The cheating saga that rocked the chess world has come to an end

Magnus Carlsen and Hans Niemann settled their dispute. Norwegian chess champion Magnus Carlsen, 32, and American chess prodigy Hans Niemann, 20, have settled their year-long dispute over alleged cheating. Online chess website Chess.com says the dispute has been resolved and both are ready to move on. Carlsen accused Niemann of cheating after Niemann beat him in the Sinquefield Cup last September. Niemann, in turn, sued Carlsen, Chess.com and another grandmaster who accused him of cheating, Hikaru Nakamura, for defamation.
