Carlos Corberan was appointed as the technical director of the Spanish First Football League (LaLiga) team Valencia.
In the statement made by Valencia Club, it was stated that a contract was signed with the 41-year-old Spanish coach until the end of the 2026-2027 season.
It was stated that Carlos Corberan will be paid a contract termination fee to West Bromwich Albion, the English Championship team where he last worked.
Corberan started his coaching career in his country at the age of 23 and worked in Saudi Arabia, Greek Cyprus and England.
Corberan, who was the assistant of the world-famous Argentinian coach Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds United for a while, worked at Huddersfield Town and Olympiacos before West Bromwich Albion.
Valencia, which had only 2 wins in 17 matches in LaLiga this season, parted ways with coach Ruben Baraja.
