The accident happened at the church in Sleihage, near Staden. An escorted transport arrived there around half past six. The truck was transporting a plastic construction. At the instructions of the supervisors, the cars pulled over to allow the transport to pass.
According to witnesses, one driver suddenly drove out of the queue and onto the road again, just as the truck passed. He crashed into the truck.
