Satu Takamaa convinced properly.

Fairytale Backcountry march from victory to victory at the weekend’s Fitness Classic in Vantaa.

Takamaa, one of the brightest stars in Finnish fitness sports,’s butt picture from the competition stage a couple of years ago became an international hit.

On Saturday, she posted on Instagram butt pictures will be repaired the day before the race.

The story continues after the picture.

The difference to the famous stage buttocks is big, because they still lack the final “competition tuning”.

– Really rough, too dry, husband and coach Tomi Takamaa describes the condition.

The pictures show the fierce muscles of the legs.

– They just snapped when I was still able to join the gym. A couple of posing photos, Satu Takamaa summarizes.

Tomi Takamaa says that the condition was perfect for Sunday’s race day.

There are different methods to attract it, but it includes, for example, refueling with carbohydrates in order to get fullness in the muscles.

– Yesterday, the rest of the day was taken care of, because the condition was getting a little lighter towards the evening. It is very common after a workout, no matter how light the workout. The evening meal had very few carbohydrates, but in the morning Satu ate a decent batch of rice and tuna in oil, Tomi Takamaa says.

– On the day of the race, you can’t just go straight to the stage after putting on your bikini. First you have to work by pumping your muscles and eat a little salt and take a carbohydrate supplement. Today was different. The condition was already so optimal that Satu could have really walked on stage right away.

Heavy pressure

Satu Takamaa started his racing season a week ago in Austria, which resulted in a handsome victory and a professional card. There were already two pro cards from last season – one from the general series and the other from the masters series.

She competes in wellness fitness, where a more shapely body is sought, for example compared to bikini fitness.

In the Vantaa Fitness Classic, Takamaa first achieved victory in the masters series with full judges’ points and then won his own height category in the general series.

– I was satisfied. The condition is really good. The poses went well and the performance was certain, he said after the masters competition.

In the general series, the overall winner of the junnu SM competition Siiri Tapaninen made Takamaan really hard. The victory came by only one point.

– It was a super tight race. When it was said that there is a one-point difference between first and second, I had no idea if I would win or if I would be second, Takamaa said.

– It’s these domestic competitions that put a lot of pressure on me, when everyone has made me the pre-favorite. Then, in a way, you have to succeed and redeem those expectations.

I’m not interested in professionalism

For Satu Takamaa, fitness sports is a hobby that does not fill a lifetime. Robin4life Productions

The backcountry race season continues in two weeks in Prague. The European Championships are ahead on May Day in Spain.

In the fall, there will be PM competitions and general championships at the Nordic Fitness Expo, where the WC places will also be awarded.

These competitions are for amateurs. Takamaa has not claimed a place despite the cards he achieved as a professional. Many consider professionalism to be the hardest part of the sport, but Finland’s star athlete sees it differently.

– As a professional, you wouldn’t be able to enter the amateur competition at all. They are really nice team trips. If I went to the pro side, it would be really lonely traveling around the world for the Games.

Takamaa works as an entrepreneur. For him, fitness sports is a hobby that takes money instead of bringing a living.

– I really like my job and my company. I also really like going to the gym and running and pedaling the spinning bike, and when I work hard, I get success in return. It fuels competition, he says.

– However, as a professional, fitness sports should be my whole life. I don’t want that.

Age Satu Takamaa is 36 years old. The couple has not thought about how long the competition will continue.

In addition to professional cards, achievements include, among other things, four SM overall competition wins, European Championship silver and World Championship bronze.

– Let’s do this as long as it’s fun, says Tomi Takamaa.
