With a renewed production, one of the most emblematic works in the history of children’s theater returned: “Singing on the table” of the mythical Hugo Midon, with original music by Carlos Gianni, and staging by Gastón Marioni. With the special participation of Cecilia “Caramelito” CarrizoDan Breitman and a live orchestra, performs every day at 3:30 p.m. at the stars (Av. Corrientes 746).
“waminix”, a contemporary circus show, directed by Leticia González de Lellis and Osqui Guzmán, is at El Cultural San Martín (Sarmiento 1551), from Wednesday to Sunday, at 7:00 p.m. There, in a distant and gloomy future, the world is ruled by the tacho heads. The Waminix community, a group of mutant survivors, make up the resistance.
“The magic of being yourself” is a free version in Spanish and in reduced format, of the opera “Bastien und Bastienne” by Mozart, created by the Association of Teachers of the Permanent Orchestra of the Teatro Colón. This is a hilarious comedy that teaches us the value of being authentic and standing up for our individuality, even when we face pressure to be like everyone else. It is presented in the Beethoven Foundation (Av. Santa Fe 1452) from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29, at 11 am.
“Captain Sanata”, the music group led by Pablo Miguel Herrero (co-creator of Los Cazurros), will present a show with their second album “Now after”, on Thursday 27, at 3:00 p.m., at the Konex (Sarmiento 3131). In addition, the Ligeros de Papaje company, recognized for its outstanding production that includes works such as “Para andar ligero”, “Hilito de un viaje”, “Pegamundos” and “Carkalata”, among others, celebrates its fifteenth anniversary. As part of the festivities, he premieres with a live band, “Canciones Imaquinarias”, which is presented in various venues such as the Munro Cultural Center (Vélez Sarsfield 4652, Munro) on Wednesday 26, at 4:00 p.m., with free admission.
In “Thumbelina”, perhaps due to a mystery or a whim of Mother Nature, a small and magical being is born within an irupé flower. This is the story of the shadow theater piece written and directed by Pablo Del Valle, inspired by the tale of Hans Christian Andersenco-directed by Estanislao Ortiz, who goes on stage in the sarmiento (Av. Sarmiento 2715), from Tuesday 25 to Sunday 30, at 3:00 p.m.
Finally, the show “Houdini Circus” promises to excite and captivate the public in its tent located in the Maxi Carrefour de Avellaneda (Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen and José Podestá).
