Festival Friday at Southside 2025 in pictures
Our pictures show: The Festival Friday at the Southside Festival 2025 couldn’t have run better. Bright sunshine, cloudless sky and a relaxed, cheerful festival crowd formed the perfect setting for a musically versatile start. Already in the early afternoon, thousands of visitors flocked to the site near Neuhausen OB Eck to get in the mood for a day full of highlights.
A lot was offered musically: bands such as Kafvka, Friedberg and Marlo Grosshardt caused a good mood early and warmed up the audience for the bigger names of the day. With Hot Milk, Kadavar and Slovdive, a varied mix of rock, indie and shoegaze followed. Amyl and the Sniffers, on the other hand, brought a lot of movement into the crowd with her energetic performance. Shortly afterwards, Jan Böhmermann, together with the Radio Dance Orchestra Ehrenfeld, ensured a very special show that could be classified between satire and party.
The headliner of the evening was finally Green Day. The punk rock legends played a set that reflected all facets of their career and was able to convince from the first minute. The pictures from Friday at Southside speak for themselves – happy faces and dancing people who know how to celebrate summer.
