Football players playing in the German First Football League (Bundesliga) chose Bayern Munich’s Polish striker Robert Lewandowski as the best football player of the first half of the season. In the voting traditionally organized by Kicker magazine, the best players of the first half of the season were determined by the votes of 234 football players playing in the Bundesliga.

    While 39.7 percent of the players chose Lewandowski as the best football player of the first half, Lewandowski was followed by Borussia Dortmun’s Norwegian player Erling Haaland with 17.9 percent and French football player Christopher Nkunku playing in Leipzig with 10.3 percent.

    In the best goalkeeper category, Bayern Munich’s net guard Manuel Neuer received the most votes with 30.3 percent, while Christian Streich, who coaches Freiburg, was selected as the best coach with 22.2 percent.


    In the category of the best referee, 43-year-old Turkish origin referee Deniz Aytekin received the most votes with 38.5 percent. Players in the Bundesliga “Who is the best player in the world right now?” Robert Lewandowski answered the question with 43.2 percent. Mohammed Salah, who plays for Liverpool, came second with 20.5 percent, and Argentine football player Lionel Messi, who played for Paris Saint-Germain, was third with 11.5 percent. Jürgen Klopp, who coaches Liverpool, was also named the best coach in the world at the moment with 34.6 percent.
