According to a written statement from UEFA, players from Manchester City, Inter and Real Madrid took part in the team of the year.
Manchester City’s 26-year-old Spanish midfielder Rodri has been named the best player of the UEFA Champions League season.
Following the UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul, where England representative Manchester City defeated Italian team Inter 1-0 with a goal by Rodri, the following players took part in the 11th of the year:
Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid)
Defender: Kyle Walker (Manchester City), Ruben Dias (Manchester City), Alessandro Bastoni (Inter), Federico Dimarco (Inter)
